Promoting the Healing and Prevention of Operational Stress Injuries;

Our mission is driven by a commitment to collaborative action, working hand-in-hand with front-line services and crucial stakeholders both within Ontario and nationwide.
We aim to create, fund, and maintain a holistic family sanctuary, a haven that seamlessly weaves together evidence-based and impactful resources designed to heal and proactively prevent operational stress injuries.
To accomplish this, we are dedicated to providing a multi-pronged approach, offering solutions at multiple levels to address the complexities of these injuries and support those affected in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.
MAKING COMMUNITIES SAFER ACROSS ONTARIO.
Working together as one, we will provide the collaborative approach necessary to plan, design, build and operate Canada’s first, self-sustained multifunctional, Family Revival Retreat, in Cambray, Ontario.
Providing solutions that are fully integrated and functional. Applying the multi-pronged and multi-level approach necessary to promote the healing and prevention of operational stress injuries.
By consolidating resources at one location, we aim to create a multi-faceted approach that addresses the diverse needs of front-line workers and their families. Focusing on you as an individual and your specific needs.
Directing Funding towards Solutions.
Together we will create a sanctuary that fosters not only physical, emotional and spiritual well-being but will also focus on environmental sustainability and regeneration.
Inviting nature in to become part of the solution.
Our goal is to create and operate a safe environment for our front-line workers and their families, from the moment of hire to the day of retirement and beyond.
Providing education and resources that will not only assist with the healing and prevention of operational stress injuries but will also assist with taking away the stigma.
By implementing comprehensive prevention measures, we can significantly mitigate the risk of operational stress injuries among our front-line workers and ensure the well-being of our community.
Providing proper resources from the outset, including access to mental health support, training, and education, empowers individuals with the tools they need to cope with the unique challenges of their profession.
Our integrated triage system prioritizes a holistic approach to recovery and prevention, beginning with a comprehensive assessment conducted by a multidisciplinary team.
This team, composed of a medical doctor, psychologist, and a peer-to-peer support member, works collaboratively to meticulously evaluate the unique needs of each individual and their family. This thorough evaluation allows us to tailor support, guidance, and resources, facilitating healing and recovery in a personalized way.
We believe in incorporating a wide range of expertise, drawing upon the knowledge and skills of naturopaths, nutritionists, nurses, holistic doctors, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, physiatrists, and physiotherapists to ensure a well-rounded and effective care plan.
Regular visits to New Hope Field of Dreams - Family Revival Retreat, both individually and collectively with co-workers or family members, will foster a sense of community and provide a safe space for sharing experiences, building resilience, and reducing the stigma associated with mental health injuries.
By providing continuous education and resources, this proactive approach not only reduces the likelihood of operational stress injuries from developing, but also prevents extended time off work due to PTSD-related injuries.
Consequently, maintaining proper staffing levels, ensuring that the citizens of the communities we protect continue to receive the highest quality and most efficient front-line services they deserve.
